I want Netflix to release an American/Japanese co-production of a live action GitS, similar in style to Altered Carbon. Ghost in the Shell is a Japanese cyberpunk media franchise based on the seinen manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow.The manga, first serialized in 1989 under the subtitle of The Ghost in the Shell, and later published as its own tankbon volumes by Kodansha, told the story of the fictional counter-cyberterrorist organization Public Security Section 9, led. But this story should have been told properly and finished so the next season could be something new rather than just finishing up from this season. Ok sure, there'll be another season, which is awesome. An OVA series that aired from 2013 to 2015, is set in 2027.It’s actually a prequel telling the origin story of Section 9 if you want, you can alternatively watch the Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture anime, which is a TV recompilation for the Ghost in the Shell: Arise OVA series. It finally starts to deliver what seems like an interesting story and then just as it peaks, times up. Is this really as good as it could have been? But what was most frustrating though was that it takes half the episodes to actually get to something worth watching. kind of reminds me of the old Reboot cartoon which was over 20 years ago. The look is kind of ok, but then the motion and facial expressions are meh. I don't hate CG, I just don't think they did that great of a job here. The film serves as a standalone sequel to Oshii's 1995 film Ghost in the Shell and is loosely based on the manga by Masamune Shirow. Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, known in Japan as just Innocence (, Inosensu), is a 2004 Japanese animated cyberpunk film written and directed by Mamoru Oshii. The characters all look great but I really wish they had stayed away from the CG though. For the manga, see Ghost in the Shell (manga). Firstly, I love the character design and think Ilya did a fantastic job.

Even the 2017 movie was kind of alright in its own way. I'll start off by saying, I LOVE everything Ghost in the Shell, up to this point.
